When in Krabi, take advantage of its miles and miles of spectacular coastline. Among its many exotic beaches, the most popular ones are Railay Beach, Ao Nang Beach, Phra Nang, and Ton Sai Beach.

A visit to Railay Beach is an experience in itself. Accessible only by boat, it is located in the south of Ao Nang. The Railay area boasts of four spectacular white-sand beaches. There are some amazing photo points with rugged limestone cliffs and a serene lagoon.

Bask in the Beaches

With its crystalline shallow waters and coral reef, Phra Nang Beach is fringed with palm trees and is ideal for swimming and snorkelling.

Krabi also boasts of some breath-taking sunset views. Head to Ao Nang Beach for the perfect place to catch the setting sun. If you fancy rock climbing, Ton Sai Beach is the place for you.

Go Island Hopping

The Krabi archipelago with its many options for island hopping will leave you spoiled for choices. Take the four-island tour by a longtail boat that covers the islands of Koh Poda, Koh Gai, Koh Tub, and Koh Mor.

The turquoise water, white sand beach, and unique limestone rock formation at Koh Poda make for a stunning sight to behold. Koh Gai, Koh Tub, and Koh Mor are excellent locations to go snorkelling.

Also take a trip to the neighbouring Koh Phi Phi islands known for their breathtaking beauty, lush jungles, excellent dining scene, and pristine beaches.

Koh Hong is also a popular choice for its virgin sands, majestic limestone formations, and serene lagoon.

Go Island Hopping

If kayaking is something you enjoy, an adventurous kayak ride through the Ao Luk mangrove forest and caves is a must. It offers a tropical playground with jutting limestone cliffs dotting the lush hilly landscape. It is a charming place that will satiate your adventurous spirit.

You can also explore the nature trail at Thung Teao Forest Natural Park known for its rich biodiversity and Emerald Pool, a vibrant natural pond. It reflects the sun and the surrounding greenery and is quite a sight to behold.

Visit Wat Tham Sua

Wat Tham Sua, also known as the Tiger Cave temple is one the famous caves near Krabi town. It is a maze of caves surrounded by a jungle.

Check out the tiger paws print in stone in one of the caves and take the 1,272-step climb up a limestone tower to see the ‘footprint of the Buddha’.

Take a Dip at the Klong Thom Hot Spring

The saline hot springs at Khlong Thom are not to be missed. Located in dense foliage near the Khao Phra Bang Khram nature reserve, these springs originate from ancient volcanic chambers and are a dream natural spa destination.

Take a dip here and let go of all your worldly stress. It is believed that these hot spring waters can help with rheumatism, sciatica, and other skin problems.

Trek the Mountains

Krabi is also home to some stunning mountains. If you are a trekking enthusiast, the twin mountains of Khao Khanab Nam and Khao Ngon Nak (Dragon Crest mountain) must be on your list.

Khao Khanab Nam soars 100 metres above the ground and offers some spectacular views. The mysterious caves with stalactite and stalagmite formations and prehistoric cave paintings inside the mountain forest add to its mystical charm.

Khao Ngon Nak jungle trail will take you through steep jungle terrain with stunning vistas that you will remember for a lifetime.
