Ingredients for Chingri Malai Curry

  • 400 grams prawns
  • 3 tbsp mustard oil
  • 1/2 tbsp cumin
  • 2 tbsp ginger paste
  • 1 tbsp cumin paste
  • 2 tsp cumin powder
  • 1 tsp red chili powder
  • 1 tsp turmeric powder
  • salt to taste
  • 2 tsp sugar
  • 1 tsp garam masala
  • 2 tsp ghee
  • 1 cups coconut milk

How to make Chingri Malai Curry

  • To make Chingri Malai Curry, first boil the prawns in turmeric water. Now heat mustard oil in a pan.
  • After this, add whole cumin and sugar to it. Then add ginger paste, cumin powder, red chili powder and turmeric powder and fry it.
  • After this, add prawns and green chilies and fry for a few minutes.
  • Now add coconut milk and cook again for some time. After that add salt to it.
  • Lastly, add garam masala and ghee and serve with rice.
