Best Night Markets in Thailand

Everyone loves to shop, and if you are in Thailand want to get something nice and cheap then there are some night markets where you can get cheap and good easily. Each of the best night markets in Thailand offers something different, whether it’s a special kind of stuff, exceptionally low prices, special cultural events or delicious food. You’ll find it all at one of these night markets.

Rot Fai Markets
There are 2 Rot Fai Markets in Bangkok, but the biggest and best is found just behind Seacon Square Shopping Mall, on Srinakarin Soi 51. It’s divided into 3 sections: Market Zone, Warehouse Zone and Rod’s Antiques. The Market Zone is what you would traditionally think of as a night market in Thailand, only bigger, with over 2,000 stalls selling anything from fashion to homeware. The Warehouse Zone and Rod’s Antiques are the really interesting parts, selling unique second-hand goods, hobbyist items like old cameras and bikes, collectables and memorabiliaazing food.

Chiang Rai Night Bazaar
Good food is never difficult to come by when you are in Thailand. The Chiang Rai Night Bazaar is located in the town centre. You can buy hill-tribe artifacts of the region and other souvenirs like carved soap candles, t-shirts, Hmong shoulder bags and a lot more! The market is completely pedestrian, so that you can walk around freely as you enjoy a meal on the go or a sit-down meal at the many eateries at this Thailand night market.

Phuket Walking Street Market
Known as the ‘Lard Yai’ by the locals, this market has become one of the most popular aspects of Phuket town.. You can sample a wide range of savoury and sweet snacks along with enjoying drinks. Shopping-wise, you can get arts and crafts, apparel, stuffed animals, printed fabric, etc.

Patpong Night Market
This night market is in the middle of the Red Light District, It’s open until late and easy to get to, so it’s definitely worth a stop.

The Owl Market
With its brightly colored rooftops, this quirky market is popular with both tourists and foreigners alike. This spot is a bit further from downtown Bangkok and is also cheaper than many of the other markets in the city. There’s plenty of street food that can be enjoyed while walking around the site.
