Thailand a Favourite Golfing Destination for Indian golfers

If people who are fond of the game of golf have a good what could be better for them if they get a place, so the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) is happy to announce that Thailand has again earned a special place among the best golfing destinations. This nationwide survey was done on 97% of golfers in India.

With an aim to track the latest trends and views among Indian golfers, the second ‘Golfing in Thailand’ survey was conducted by Sports and Leisure Worldwide (SLW) from June 21 to July 5, 2021 on 1,001 golfers of different ages across India . . Respondents identified renowned Thai hospitality, value for money, and affordable luxury as the top three factors influencing their choice of Thailand as a premier golfing destination. Thailand’s proximity to India was another positive factor, as is the world-class quality of golf courses and diverse natural locations throughout the country, from the beach resorts of the south to the mountains and valleys of the north.

The survey showed that the majority of respondents (about 68%) had been vaccinated, while 26% had received their first vaccine dose and were ready to travel to Thailand. They were just waiting for the reopening of all tourism services and attractions in the state. So that he can enjoy golf again.

The golf management company SLW, in partnership with the TAT New Delhi office, offers a golf travel loyalty program called Thai Golf Passport in India.
