Prague- A Cultural City Full of Monuments

Prague is considered to be the most romantic city in Europe. It is a cultural city full of magnificent monuments. It is also famous for music and art, architecture, gardens and gardens. Wonderful things like dancing houses and astronomical clocks will be found only here. Prague City is a tourist destination for tourists due to its grandeur and historical heritage. Prague Fort
This fort is situated on the highest point of the city. In this you will find royal palaces, cathedrals, churches, monasteries, towers, chutes and carved narrow streets. This fort is about a thousand years old and is included in the largest forts in the world.

Charles Bridge
This is the oldest bridge in Prague. This bridge has a beautiful view of the Vltava River. This bridge is 1700 feet long. It was built by Charles IV. Apart from this bridge, you must visit Cesky Krumlov Castle in Prague.

Powder Tower
Powder Tower is the entrance to Old Prague Town. Built in the 11th century, this tower was used during the 17th century to store gun powder. For this reason it was named Powder Tower. Once upon a time this tower was the royal passage to the king’s palace. Within it, a winding 186-step staircase reaching the top of the tower gives a grand view of the old city.

Dancing House
The Dancing House building is a popular tourist destination in Prague. It is very famous for its ultra modern design. Although, there is no dearth of unique architectural styles in the city, but this dancing house building on the Vltava River is very different from others. It is a private office building with a restaurant on the 7th floor, which is also open to the public.

Old New Synagogue
This site is a Jewish quarter and is also one of the oldest places of worship in Europe. There are many folk tales about its construction. Some say that the wall of this building was built with stones brought by angels from the Second Temple in Jerusalem, hence it is a holy site for the local people. Since the year 1270 it has been a center of worship and faith.

Astronomical clock
This is the oldest icon in Prague. It has Babylonian Time, Old Bohemian Time, German Time, Sidereal Time, besides sunrise and sunset views. This clock also shows the astronomical positions of the Moon and the Sun. It is said that in 1410, a professor of mathematics and a watchmaker made this clock. Due to good repair and maintenance for the last 600 years, this clock is still a center of attraction among tourists. The beauty of the clock is that it rings every hour.
