Israel Bans Entry of all Foreign Travelers

Israel has banned the entry of all foreign travelers due to the new variant of the corona virus, Omicron. On Friday, the first patient infected with the Omicron variant was found in the country. It was only after this that Israel banned travelers from many South African countries. Now the entry of all foreigners has been banned in the country. ‘The government has currently banned foreign passengers for 14 days.

It is the first country to ban the entry of foreigners. However, Indian citizens working, living and studying there can still enter Israel. This information was given by the Ambassador of Israel in New Delhi, Naol Gilone. Gillon also told that the Indian citizens present there can also leave Israel and return to India till the operations of the flights continue.

According to the new rules, now if any vaccinated Israeli citizen comes back to the country, then he will have to undergo a corona test. Along with this, he will have to be quarantined for 72 hours. At the end of this period, there will be a corona test again. All reports must come negative. A person whose vaccination has not been completed, he will have to remain quarantined for 7 days. After this the negative report of the corona test will have to be shown.

Israel’s Ambassador to India Gilone said that due to the finding of a new type of corona variant in a woman from South Africa, we have decided to implement the ban. We have sealed our borders. I think this has been done because till now we do not know how dangerous this new mutation of corona is.
