Indian Embassy Bangkok is celebrating the birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, the first Deputy Prime Minister and Home Minister of India from 25th to 31st October. since 2014
The birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel is celebrated every year as “National Unity Day”. Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel was one of the biggest leaders of India’s independence movement and united India. He is considered as the Iron Man of India.
In this connection, this embassy is organizing a week-long photo shoot. Exhibition on the life and works of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel which will be displayed to the public from 25-29 October 2021 in the premises of the Embassy of India, Bangkok (46, Prasaramitra, Sukhumvit, Soi 23, Bangkok) following the Covid-19 protocols.
The photo exhibition was inaugurated on October 25, 2021 by H.E. Senator Smt. Pikulkew Kririksha, Chairperson, Senate Foreign Relations Committee, in the presence of Ms Suchitra Durai, Ambassador of India to Thailand.
