India entered the finals of the World Test Championship with a win in Ahmedabad

Team India defeated England by an innings and 25 runs in the fourth Test played at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. The fourth Test ended on the third day on Saturday. With this, India won the 4-Test series 3–1. Now Team India has reached the final of ICC World Test Championship. They will face New Zealand at Lord’s on 18 June.

In the fourth Test, England won the toss and scored 205 runs batting first. In response, Team India scored 365 runs with the help of Rishabh Pant’s 101 and Washington Sundar’s unbeaten 96 runs. Also took a lead of 160 runs in the first innings. The English team could not take this lead and was reduced to 135 on the third day of the match. In the match, Akshar Patel took 9 (4, 5) wickets and Ravichandran Ashwin took 8 (3, 5) wickets. Pant was elected Player of the Match.
