The 18 year old Swedish climate activist, Greta Thunberg had took advantage of her speech at the”‘Youth4Climate” conference in MIlan, Italy, to ridicule the words of world leaders, such as Prime MInister Boris Johnson of the United KIngdom.

The famous female climate activist had utilized sound bites from PM Johnson including “exclusive bunny hugging” and “build back better”, to feature what she labeled as the “empty words and promises” of politicians.

During the last parts of Ms. Greta’s speech, she encouraged people to never lose hope, stating that change “is not only possible, but urgently necessary”.

A lot of countries throughout the world have  declared extravagant goals to minimize their discharges to fight climate change.

According to the analysts, several new announcements, like the one from the statesman of China stating that the country would not produce coal plants abroad any longer as well as the United States, European Union and others promising to lessen methane emissions by 30% by the year 2030, are indications that developments are being forged.

Although analysts also warned that some crucial obstacles persist.

For instance, the UK has guaranteed to reduce 78% of its emissions by 2035 from a 1990 starting point but its government’s present objectives are anticipated to achieve below one-fourth of the cuts which are necessary to fulfill the target.
