Narkanda
The distance from Shimla to Narkanda is approximately more than 60 kms, and it takes more than 2 hours to cover this distance. This is because this place is situated at a very high altitude. Here you can get snowfall and many types of adventures are done here. For example, skating, zip line etc. You can also do capping here or you can also enjoy the home stay at some distance from here.

Jakhu Temple
It takes about 20 minutes by road to reach Jakhu Temple from Shimla. Apart from this, you can also reach here via ropeway from Mall Road, whose fare is about 250 rupees per person, or on foot from Mall Road to Jakhu Temple. Jakhu Temple is the temple of Hanuman ji, and here you will get to see the 108 feet high statue of Bajrang Bali. While going here, note that keep your mobile, glasses and essential items in your bag, because the monkeys here can snatch these things from you. There are restaurants to eat here, where Indian to South Indian and Chinese food is available.

At the same time, you can go to Mall Road located in Shimla. There is a very good market here, from where you can shop. Also going up in Mall Road is Christ Church, from where many amazing views of nature can be seen. Very good photos can also be clicked here.
