The Origin Story
Blackpink, a four-member band, was formed by YG Entertainment. The group includes everyone’s favourite: Jisoo, Jennie, Rosé, and Lisa. Blackpink made their debut on August 8th, 2016, with the single album “Square One,” spawned the hit single “Whistle.”
Since then, they have become one of the world’s most popular and successful K-pop groups, known for their energetic performances and catchy, trendsetting music.
In 2022 the iconic girl group Blackpink set new standards by topping international charts and becoming the face of luxury brands.
Blackpink has released several successful EPs and singles and has received numerous awards and accolades for their work.
